The functions of the backpack cover in detail:

Reliable in all weather conditions

The SOS-BAG is reinforced with waterproof material at the bottom and is 8 cm high. No puddle is too big: you can leave it outside in the rain without worrying— the attached daypack also has this feature.

This is important to us:

  • Clean stand: The backpack stands upright on its own —no leaning required.

  • Dry lid: Water rolls off the lid, preventing waterlogging, unlike with wrap-around closures, for example.

  • First aid kit in the lid – easily accessible from above and far away from road dirt.

  • Suitable for everyday use and deployment: curbs, train platforms, dirt roads—simply set it down and the contents remain protected.

Flexible and robust
Professional carrying system 

The SOS-BAG has an enormous amount of capacity. The carrying system must be suitable for this purpose and is length-adjustable and distributes the weight efficiently. An adjustable, wide, well-padded hip belt takes the load off the shoulders – for noticeable comfort even when the pack is full.

This is important to us:

  • Individually adjustable: back length, shoulder, hip, and chest straps are infinitely adjustable – fits sizes S to XL.
  • Load control: Compression and load control straps keep the center of gravity close to the body, reducing sway.
  • Comfortable hip belt: wide support, sturdy buckle – distributes weight to the hips, relieves strain on the back and shoulders.
  • Reinforced handle: Non-slip coating and no indentations – secure grip.
  • Mini bag for trackers: Invisible installation of trackers such as Airtag, etc.
  • Robust in use: tear-resistant straps, durable seams, and hardware for high load capacities.

Modular and tidy

The SOS-BAG is divided into modules. Each bag is clearly labeled (pictogram + text) and can be removed individually—so even under stress, you can immediately find what you need.

This is important to us:

  • Quick orientation:
    Large labels are easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.

  • Viewing window: Many bags allow you to see the contents at a glance—without opening them.

  • Can be used individually: remove modules, place them at the point of use, or pass them on.

  • Everything stays tidy: the compartment structure prevents chaos; simply put it back after use.

  • Flexibly expandable: additional pockets/modules can be added as needed. Even with accessories attached, the bag can be easily opened and closed thanks to its all-around waterproof zipper.

Height-adjustable & dimensionally stable

The SOS-BAG can be expanded continuously at the top – up to approx. 20 cm of additional height. Integrated reinforcements maintain the shape, even when the backpack is full or standing in the rain.

This is important to us:

  • More space as needed: extra space for clothes, shoes, jackets, and personal items, for example.

  • Order & Access: The stable shape prevents sagging – compartments remain accessible.

  • Safe carrying: Even load distribution, less wobbling.

  • Flexible for everyday use: can be flattened again with compression straps when carrying less luggage.

MOLLE system – infinitely expandable

The system features MOLLE loops on both sides and on the back, allowing you to adapt the SOS-BAG to any situation.

This is important to us:

  • Examples (as shown in the picture): Radio/cell phone holder on the front, large bottle holder on the side with fastening straps, additional side pockets at the bottom – everything securely fastened, quickly removable.
  • Modular & secure: Additional products are threaded (not just hooked in) – holds rock-solid, no wobbling.
  • Fully compatible: The MOLLE grid complies with the PALS standard (developed by the US military and used professionally worldwide). This means that brands from all manufacturers fit – from radio holsters and first aid packs to knife/tool sheaths.
  • Quickly configured: frequently used items outside, heavy items inside—rearrange your setup in minutes.
  • Grows with you: today a radio and bottle, tomorrow a spade, lamp, glove holder, admin pockets— endless possibilities.
