Reliable communication when it matters: Midland's handy ALAN 42 DS CB radio covers all European frequencies and has an automatic emergency channel. Can be used with batteries or directly in the vehicle – ideal for emergencies, evacuations, or when traveling without a mobile network.

Content & Purpose

  • Making an emergency call: Use the EMG button to switch immediately to channel 9 (international emergency channel) or channel 19 (frequently used truck/travel channel). This is the best way to get help or be heard by other radio operators.

  • Always available: Communication even without a cell phone or power grid.

  • Emergency call function: Quick access to the EMG channel for help in an emergency.
